27 Mar Actors Headshots | Nottingham Headshot Photographer
I specialise in Actors Headshots with over 5 years of experience.
When you come to Focus and Shoot Photography for your acting headshots you are guaranteed to get a relaxed and comfortable photo session and you will leave with perfectly directed professional images that will make you stand out from the crowd and get you invited for auditions.
Why a headshot is important?
Your headshot is your first impression. It is your most important tool as an actor and when trying to find an agency to represent you. A really good headshot is honest and transparent. It shows you as you are. Casting directors have to go through mountains of submissions every day and you need to make sure your stand out from the crowd.
A headshot can be one of the first deciding factors on whether or not you will be invited for your next audition.
Therefore, a good quality, professional headshot is vital to securing your next job. Whilst you may be concerned about the cost attributed to some headshot packages; you really cannot put a price on your career being a success.
Your headshot is a reflection not only of how you look, but also your personality.
Headshots should be kept up to date, so if you colour or cut your hair or make some other change, you should have new professional headshots taken.
What to expect?
When you come to Focus and Shoot Photography studio in Beeston, Nottingham you will receive a bespoke photo session tailored to your specific needs.
Your session will take place in my Beeston photo studio and will last around an hour..
If you need more time that is perfectly fine and will not be charged anything extra.
I only see a maximum of 2 clients a day as I like to take my time to get to know you and make you as relaxed and as comfortable as possible.
I will take between 200-400 images during your session with different lighting setups and clothing changes.
You will be able to view your photos at the back of my camera during the session and we can discuss what works for you.
After the session I will email you a contact sheet with all best photos for you to view in your own time and choose the ones you want editing.
When it comes to photo editing your photos will be a real representation of yourself and they will never be unrealistic.
The casting director, agent or production company want to see a photo of the “real” you so if you turn up to an audition or casting looking completely different to your photograph you are wasting everyone’s time!
How much does it cost?
The photo session costs £70 and includes:
-one hour studio photo session
-my time and expertise as your photographer
-a pre-session consultation and advice
-a PDF file with all the best images to choose from
-one fully retouched digital image in both colour and BW for you to use as you wish
-relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and fun of course!
Additional digital images can be purchase for £20 each.
